Please, be aware of RH rejects support RHEL 7.X running Mirantis Openstack on top of it. So, for Enterprise (case with VW is a fair ) it is really doesn't matter is Ubuntu boring for you or not. It will be supported with no doubts. RH's policy will raise Ubuntu on the crest of a wave,attracting investment, increasing profitability and so on. BTW, Server 16.04 is providing LXD plugin for Nova. It is very strong move, which will be noticed by Google, IBM, HP. I am not sure which one will appear to be the first in the race has been already started. Any problem in this world finally appears to be a question of money, big money. |
