  1. Introduce wire wrap. This helps to understand circuit board layout and provides for usable semi-permanent circuit construction without the burn danger of soldering.
  2. Include Kirchhoff's Law with Ohm's Law. Both of these are necessary for a strong basic foundation.
  3. Once Ohm's and Kirchhoff's laws are covered, sensors and op amps can easily be introduced. Equations for resistors in parallel and series can be easily derived using these two basic concepts.
  4. ... and then you have a good basis for effective GPIO use on the Raspberry Pi... analog signals and digitization can be briefly covered without much technical detail except for bit representation and ranges of stored values during programming.
