The issues got fixed even without reporting bugs. Looks like there is some autotracking system catching problems. Fedora always moves in correct direction. |

I haven't tried Fedora or SuSE in a while. I'll have to check it out. |

Can also check out Rocky Linux https://rockylinux.org/ as another rapidly evolving, community-developed, RH-based distro. |
