So anyone who has been in the Linux gaming scene for a while will have probably heard of LGP (Linux Game Publising) who port and distribute games for Linux at quite a premium as they tend to go for older AAA titles as opposed to indie titles.

Project Zomboid another favourite indie game of mine is nearing the release of their very eagerly awaited version, after the tragedy of losing code due to a break in they are full steam ahead re-doing the game!

So Alex from Kot-In-Action has finally given us a sort of demo trailer for some gameplay of what will become Tomes of Mephistopheles. It looks interesting and as usual from Kot-In-Action the graphics are already looking rather good.

Some of you may know of the game Cardinal Quest (a fast paced rougelike - it's pretty cool go check it out) by a guy named Ido Yehieli, well he wrote a blog post I have been meaning to bring to light for a while but kept forgetting (I have a back log of articles to cover!). The blog post is titled Why Bundles and Steam Sales Aren’t Good for Most Indies.

Fallout is now on Desura for Linux using DosBox! It's the same thing that gog.com does it bundles the game with DosBox (exactly the same on Windows).

2011 has been a pretty exciting year for Linux gamers all in all with multiple different types of bundles coming from Humble who have been porting games left right and centre to Linux and Mac for their bundles, while some may not agree with the pay what you want model they have been giving us some good games.
