The HUD or “Head-Up display” is an interactive way to search inside currently running application menus. This tool becomes handy, specially for applications with many menus and a lot of options, and you hardly remember where is the required options you want to execute. We have seen earlier HUD running on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Precise Pangolin with Unity interface. Now it’s available for Unity 2D user interface as well.

The Last Maintenance Release For Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Lucid Lynx Is Here

The Long Term Support release Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx has reached its final stage of maintenance for this release with the Forth release Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS Lucid Lynx. Now it’s available to download and the other flavor of Ubuntu with KDE desktop “Kubuntu” is available as well. The final release Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Precise Pangolin will take the place of Ubuntu 10.04 LTS which suppose to be release in April 26th,2012. However, Ubuntu will keep providing support for Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Lucid Lynx desktop till 2013 and till 2015 for server.
