2008 Bossie Awards Honor "Best of" Open Source

InfoWorld has announced the 2008 Bossie Awards for the Best of Open-Source Software. Awards were given to 60 winners across 8 categories covering business and productivity applications, development tools, middleware, networking, security, and storage.

Winners include (among others) OpenOffice.org for office productivity, Snort for network intrusion detection, Splunk for security log analysis, Jitterbit for data and application integration, SugarCRM, Alfresco in content management.
