"We Are Not Proprietary," Protests Red Hat - Torvalds Agrees

Responding to an allegation from Sun Microsystems that Red Hat Enterprise Linux has "pretty much forked the [Linux] distribution" on the server side, a RH spokesman has defended both the company and RHEL: ""We are fully committed to open source and our code reflects that. Red Hat has no proprietary software built in our distribution."
