Now that GNOME 3.2 has been released, the GNOME 3.4 desktop environment will see the light of day in about six months from now, and it will bring many new features and improvements.

In GNOME 3.4 you will be able to easily install, enable or disable GNOME Shell extensions for greater desktop experience. The "focus follows mouse" functionality will be improved to easily start multiple apps at the same time. A new library, called libsocialweb, will be implemented in GNOME 3.4 to provide social networking integration. Also, support for automatic multi-seat will be provided in GNOME 3.4 via systemd.
