As newer distributions appear, older ones have to retire. Therefore, we are sorry to announced today that the Fedora 14 (Laughlin) operating system will reach End of Life (EOL) next month, on December 8th, 2011.

Dubbed Laughlin, the Fedora 14 operating system was released on November 2nd, 2010. It was powered by Linux kernel 2.6.35 and it introduced features such as basic support for Spice, support for hardware-accelerated 2D graphics, GNOME 2.32, and KDE 4.5.

Today, November 9th, we are officially announcing that starting with December 8th, all users of the Fedora 14 (Laughlin) operating system will no longer receive security/critical fixes and software updates.
