PHP 5.4 To Be Included in Fedora 17

Today we're announcing that the unreleased PHP 5.4 scripting language for web development will be included in the final version of the Fedora 17 Linux distribution. The build will include ZTS extensions and modules, as well as other features.

Dubbed Beefy Miracle, Fedora 17 Linux will bring a simplified filesystem by moving everything to /usr, the Btrfs as the default filesystem, software rendering for GNOME Shell, Thin provisioning, support for the D2 programming language, PackageKit and systemd integration.
