Steven Shiau, the developer behind the popular Clonezilla Live CD distribution, announced on July 14th that a new stable release of his GParted Live CD Linux operating system for partitioning tasks is available for download.

GParted Live CD 0.13.0-1 is based on Debian Sid repository as of 14 July 2012, includes Linux kernel 3.2.21-3, GParted 0.13.0, web browser shortcut on the desktop, and menu button keyboard shortcut for the Fluxbox root menu (useful when the GParted Live CD is used without a mouse).
