Linux From Scratch and Beyond Linux From Scratch 7.9 Books Officially Released

Bruce Dubbs from the LFS (Linux From Scratch) and BLFS (Beyond Linux From Scratch) projects has announced the availability of the LFS 7.9 and BLFS 7.9 maintenance releases.

Linux From Scratch 7.9 and Beyond Linux From Scratch 7.9 appear to be major releases of the respective projects and include updates about the latest GNU/Linux technologies, among which Glibc 2.23, Binutils 2.26, as well as GCC (GNU Compiler Collection) 5.3.0. On the other hand, BLFS 7.9 contains information about approximately 800 Linux packages that are not covered in the LFS 7.9 book.
