SCO and BASIS Participate in Co-Marketing Program to Provide Joint Software Solutions for Customers

LINDON, Utah, Nov. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The SCO Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SCOX), the owner of the UNIX(R) operating system and a leading provider of UNIX-based solutions, today announced that the company has entered into a joint marketing promotion with BASIS International Ltd. The promotion, which runs through December 31, 2004, will provide the companies' mutual customers with discounts of up to 40 percent on upgrades to SCO OpenServer 5.0.7 and BASIS International's BBj 4.02 or PRO/5 5.0 product. In addition, customers will obtain the upgrade to the upcoming releases of Legend, the next release of SCO OpenServer, through SCO Update, and the next release of BASIS International's BBj and PRO/5.
