YES Linux Release Team would like to announce the immediate availability of YES Linux 2.2 Build 2. This release of YES Linux features many updates.

The two most exciting new features are User Management and Autonomous
Backup Applications. User Management allows the management of Users and
Groups for access to YES Administration and Websites. YES Backup allows
for efficient backups of all critical system data and is XML configurable.
By default YES Backup is run once a week and make volumes that are
compatible with DVD Writers. As with the information to backup the size
of the volumes is customizable in the xml configuration file. We are in
the process of building Documentation about User Management and Backup
currently. A note about backup is that all backups are located in
/usr/local/yesbackup/backups.

This release also includes a fix to the Microsoft Webdav bug http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;315621&Product=winxp. This means that if you are using Microsoft Windows XP to connect to YES Linux using WebDav and were having weird behavior, that should now be fixed.

YES Linux can be downloaded from http://www.yeslinux.org/iso/ , on BitTorrent Network http://www.tlm-project.org/torrents/yeslinux or one of our mirrors http://www.yeslinux.org/iso/mirrors.php

A list of installed applications will be available from the support site under YES Linux http://www.yeslinux.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=368.
