Replay Xcessory Automates Regression Testing, Making It Possible to Test More Often With Less Labor

BEDFORD, Mass., Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc. (ICS) today announced the release of Replay Xcessory(TM), the first modern testing environment in over five years for UNIX and Linux professionals using Motif. Replay Xcessory fills an increasing demand of Motif developers for full-featured, intuitive testing tools that support the most current platforms. This release demonstrates ICS's commitment to the development of breakthrough technologies and continued support for the Motif community.

Replay Xcessory makes the creation and execution of complex application tests intuitive and efficient. It allows developers and QA professionals to record user interactions, create test baselines, capture critical information for validation purposes, and replay sessions interactively or through batch mode to ensure the application continues to function correctly. Replay Xcessory operates on objects rather than screen location, making test scripts more resilient. Complex tests, especially large volumes of data-driven stress tests, are easily built using the full power of the TCL scripting language that drives Replay Xcessory. The product eliminates the error-prone and time-consuming processes associated with manual testing.

"With the launch of Replay Xcessory, ICS has addressed several critical customer demands to seamlessly test their pre-existing and new Motif applications without all the hassles of doing it manually," said Mark Hatch, Chief Operating Officer of Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc. "Once again, ICS is leading the market with software solutions to help our customers create and maintain mission-critical, high-performance applications." With Replay Xcessory, developers can:
