As time is going on, more and more people are learning about the benefits of using, modifying, and redistributing free software. Some industries even demand to get the source, and they have to - think military, governmental, heavy industry/aircraft/space craft machine control or the health care industry, where lives are involved. Others - like me and most of the people who once saw the possibilities - are simply amazed at what is possible. This should be the year of free and open source software. Full Story |
