Dell Takes Linux Demand Seriously

Considering the inclusion of Red Hat with Dell on the server level, you might have thought that this would have happened a long time ago. Well, better late than never, I suppose. I have just discovered that Dell is looking into bundling the big three Linux distributions (OpenSuSE, Ubuntu and Fedora) to those who might be interested.

Now this is still very much in the "wouldn't it be nice" stages at this point, but it appears that, for once, Dell is really beginning to get that falling into the same old routine with Microsoft and their OEM cronies may not be the best plan of attack here. It's been well received enough that one key Dell exec utive has in fact, taken notice.
