It seems someone has forked Wine-Staging adding in all the needed patches for Overwatch to work, so I tested it out.

Valve have put up SteamVR for Linux officially in Beta form and they are keen to stress that this is a development release. Great to finally see VR on Linux!

Marek, the Mesa developer from AMD posted a message to the public Mesa-dev mailing list asking to merge the threaded GL dispatch code and get it cleaned up to help with the high CPU overhead of Mesa.

I had the pleasure of talking to Simon Roth, a developer I've followed for quite some time now about his game 'Maia', about Linux and other bits. Linux sales for Simon are 'approaching ten thousand', which is impressive.
