SuperTuxKart Open Source Racer Is Going Graphical With A New Engine

SuperTuxKart a lot of Linux users favourite little open source racer often compared to Nintendo's Mario Kart is to get a ton of graphical updates.

Allwinner octacore SoC due first on pcDuino8 SBC

LinkSprite, which hosts the open source project for Allwinner-based pcDuino single board computers, will be Allwinner’s “earliest access” partner to develop a “pcDuino8? SBC based on UltraOctaA80 (“A80?). This gives it a head start versus other open hardware projects that have focused on Allwinner’s A10 and A20 SoCs, such as Cubieboard.org and OLinuxino. The A80 began sampling in April, and first commercial devices based on it are set to ship starting in late June.

UltraDNS Dealing with DDoS Attack

UltraDNS said it has mitigated a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack for most of its customers after the service was held down for most of the day. "Currently, only customers utilizing a segment of UltraDNS Name Server addresses are experiencing resolution latency due to intermittent network saturation in the Western US," said Neustar director of product management, security solutions, Jim Fink in an email to Threatpost.

Multiple projects need to be managed, often with various dependencies to other teams, partners, external suppliers or other parties. Different stakeholders require a different level of information. Questions arise and often cannot be answered satisfactory in many project teams: What is the timeline of our project? What needs to be done to reach the next milestone? How would you do that if he or she is not in front of you?
