I saw a link to this site on slashdot a day or two ago and tried to get to it but had no luck at all. The same has happened a minute or two ago. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Which link? lxer.com or news.com.com? I have never had a problem but if if you saw it on /. then maybe it was /.'ed.

would it not be just a tiny little bit difficult to post a message on lxer if I couldn't reach it?

I suppose it would, however you indicated that you had the problem minutes prior to the post, not at the time of the post. If you had the problem at the time of the post you would have said "I can't get to this link" rather than "I had problems getting to the link in the past". I had problems just before I posted the original link. However, I managed to get to the site this morning. I think maybe you were right about it being /.'ed.
