Recently, Tuxchick made a remark about how the number of 'Untitled' posts was getting out of hand. I've got to agree that this can be anoying. Is there some way (I know there is) to require the field to be filled with something other than 'Untitled' :) ? That would seem the logical fix. |

Groklaw uses a system where the headline of the story is used if title left blank. Maybe this would work for us |

I think we should use an automated title generator that will discourage untitled comments. I'm thinking things like "bstadil rolls in his rabbit droppings" or "tuxchick is a snake-handling, hallelujah shouting, Bush-voting, redneck" or "dinotrac is great" (Well, come on -- it has to be credible, right?) |

dinotrac, I really like the random generator thing, but to be credible the last one should read more like "dinotrac's every oriface expells BS" :D Actually, I believe I have an IRC perl script that pretty much does that :) |

txt - Very little, if anything. My mother pointing out the hospital I was born in on a trip back, that may be about it. I was a military brat. By the time I was remembering things, we had moved on. |
