Good article, but define "win"

1:58 PM EDT 		It's a fairly good article, but the author needs to define the term "win." It leaves it pretty amorphous. He talks about how the fight has gone, but not what the goal is as far as OSS is concerned. We pretty much can concede that M$ & Apple's goals are to eradicate OSS.

I might define an OSS "win" as when OSS gets recognition, development attention & the covert war against it stops. Others may define it as significant (or dominant) market share. There's a big difference. If he is saying we HAVE no defined goal, he should conclude with that.
