The MegaUpload debacle can serve as a great big, flood-lit warning: "AVOID THE CLOUD!" Because it takes only one scofflaw, one idiot cop, and one ignorant judge, to ruin the day (or month, or year) for a whole lotta people. People whose only "crime" was using the same service/servers as someone on the MafiAA's hit list. (CEO's and CFO's especially need to heed this warning.) |

You know, I've got a great idea for a movie. Two con men out to swindle the government into giving them unfettered control of the Internet in "Alias Smith and Dodd". Nah, who am I kidding? No one would ever believe it. |
