Anyone know what has happened to SourceForge Hosted Apps?

They have not been available for a couple of days now and they seem rather tight-lipped about what is going on.

Service has partially resumed now.

For a couple of days, they have been offline with SF not commenting on the details of what happened.

A single *tweet* was all that was given.

Many TRAC tickets created asking for information and some update:

Given that SF is such a big resource, they were rather guarded about the whole thing. I still cannot find an explanation as to what transpired or why there was such a wholesale withdrawal of service for such a long time. If they are upgrading services or had a hardware failure, why not just say so?

Absolutely no reason. So the more likely bet is that the servers were hacked and taken offline for forensics. It wouldn't be the first time a company has been tight lipped about a security breach.
