who thinks all these new users who've suddenly begun posting on LXer, all in one way or another, attacking Red Hat, is somewhat suspicious. |

Yep, Scott, and somehow fans of distro U or perhaps distro S feel a need to trash the opposition. Silly, IMHO. Linux does best if all of the above are successful. |

It's not just you... I posted something quite similar, three days ago http://lxer.com/module/forums/t/33404/ A whole pile of new posters, all smearing Red Hat. But who benefits enough to go to the trouble? Unless this was just a training run? |

I just wish new LXer users was representative of something positive, like more people using Linux on the desktop. Oh well... Speaking of Red Hat and clones, I'm about to do a CentOS 6.3 desktop install. This should be fun... |
