If LMDE rapidly adopts systemd as does Debian. The thread "sadly, a lot of hot air..." is already full of the "systemdevil sucks" vs the pro-systemd PR claptrappers. Too bad for adoption of Mint Debian if this goes on for too long.

How could LMDE actually NOT adopt systemd if it's based on Debian and Debian adopts systemd?

That aside, one of the more interesting things about this is where they got the project name. It doesn't follow the Linux Mint formula (woman's names, alphabetically, ending in "a" and now on Qiana) and it doesn't follow the Debian formula of Toy Story characters. It doesn't even follow an alternative to the Debian naming convention, as Debian-based CrunchBang does with Muppet Show characters starting with the same letter of the name in the Debian release (next for CrunchBang is Janice, the guitar-playing Muppet in the band).

The game is on!
