That's one of the coolest things I've seen in IT for a long time.

Only to have to reboot to patch your init because of a vulnerability in its networking service.

Yeah, sure, it can "reboot" in place. But if something balks during that process you end up with a full reboot anyways because the kernel will panic if the init keels over...

Not to mention that some services just won't be able to be stopped/restarted... I like it,... but it won't be perfect.
