The main motivation for installing voice commands and speech recognition software is to aid in the management of the operating system, in this case, Ubuntu 15.04. For many people with disabilities is also very useful to use the voice as the main enforcer when it comes to the operating system, ie, whether the disabilities were are motor or even visual, software commands via voice is the perfect solution.

My dad, Linux, and me

When I was a young girl, I remember my dad showing me Linux on his computer. He was showing me what was known then as Red Hat Linux—it was a fresh version of Colgate 4.0 from Best Buy. At that time, I was familiar with Windows 95 and knew how to use a computer, but Linux was new to me. It looked like a bunch of code and too technical. Senate delays vote on NSA phone records dragnet

A controversial program allowing the U.S. National Security Agency to collect millions of domestic telephone records expired Sunday night after the Senate failed to vote on a bill to extend the authority for the surveillance.

Majority of websites have serious, unfixed vulnerabilities

In a recent analysis of more than 30,000 websites, most had at least one serious vulnerability for 150 or more days last year. "These are the vulnerabilities that can get you into trouble," said Jeremiah Grossman, founder at WhiteHat Security, the company behind the report. "They can compromise some or all of your systems, get user data, or take over accounts."
