With the recent discussion on the official support for ZFS in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, another interesting piece of information has come to light. Debian developers and maintainers have just realized that they were shipping the ISO of the distribution with the a pre-compiled non-free Nvidia kernel module, which technically should be a violation of the Linux kernel.
